Gregory Houston, Chief Operating Officer
In addition to overseeing the day to day operations for IronWare Technologies, Greg is in charge of new product development and IronWare developed third-party applications. Greg began his career as an entrepreneur owning several grocery stores. During this time he ran the warehouse operations and managed all the finances and business development for a mid-sized retail chain. As an owner, he looked for ways to improve productivity for his businesses. Realizing the capabilities of software, Greg shifted roles into the programming field writing small applications to extract financial data allowing other executives to make more informed business decisions. Greg also shares a unique background which blends executive financial management with Information Technology. He has implemented Peoplesoft and is marked by one of very few individuals achieving the Application Developer Certification for Great Plains, Solomon, MAS 500 and SAP Business One.
Since the launch of IronWare, Greg has worn many hats but the best fit has been the development of several industry leading applications including an application for Commodity Traders/Buyers & Sellers and, most recently, our LiveWare WMS Warehouse Management Solution. Building on his warehouse experience, Greg was part of the project scope, design and development behind a complete warehouse solution using .NET architecture.
